Pre-K
Judy Kann

Judy comes from a non-traditional background, having graduated high school early, lived and worked on Monhegan Island, and went to Antioch College, a work-study school. Judy has a B.S. in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Literacy Education. Judy has 30 plus years of teaching experience. She lives in Gray, Maine and has three grown children. She loves yoga, running, cooking, walking on the beach, children, kindness, camping, laughing, singing, and children’s literature.

Pre-K
Rhonda Bullock

Rhonda began volunteering at Fiddlehead Center in the summer of 2013. A year later, when opportunities arose at Fiddlehead School for Assistant Teachers, she decided to pursue her newly found joy working with children. Since moving on from a long and successful career in the business world, Rhonda has begun a new career in education and is loving every minute. In addition to assisting in the Pre-K classroom, Rhonda also teaches group violin classes to several grades at Fiddlehead School and offers private violin lessons for Fiddlehead Center. In her spare time, she performs with several traditional fiddle groups and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Kindergarten
Marie Reimensnyder

Marie has been working in early childhood for the past 12 years. She holds a B.F.A. in Ceramics from the Portland School of Art (now MECA), and a M.S. in Ecological Teaching and Learning from Lesley University. Marie is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and place-based learning and is committed to creating a culture of questioning and cultivating a sense of wonder. She loves animals, the magic of children, music, drawing, looking closely, being outdoors, sharing her love of nature with children, digging in the dirt, growing things, and playing hockey. Marie and her husband Tim, dog (Nellie), and cats, live in New Gloucester. Both Nellie and Tim volunteer in kindergarten.They have two grown children and a granddaughter.

Christa Erde

Christa Erde graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Disability Studies. Christa loves to learn, travel, and hike New England with her husband and their dog Sebago.

2nd grade
Lizabeth Harrington

Liz earned a B.S degree in Early Childhood Education from Colby Sawyer College and a Master of Arts from Antioch New England. Liz enjoys bringing art alive in the classroom and providing students with opportunities to use art to learn about themselves and the world around them. Outside of the classroom,  Liz is a potter and mixed media artist and operates her business (Craic Arts) from her home in Gray. She lives in one of the few remaining original farmhouses in Gray Village with her husband, Ralph, two big cats, Lincoln and Leah and their dog Gracie.
