Admissions

Dear Interested Families,

We are proud to be a community of learners at Fiddlehead School of Arts & Sciences, where curiosity drives our approach and learning is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy. Our school is a place where children thrive in a flexible environment, learning from each other and exploring ideas together. If your child enjoys a fluidly scheduled environment that encourages collaboration and creativity, Fiddlehead is the right fit!

At Fiddlehead, we prioritize fostering curiosity and teaching students how to ask questions, pursue answers, and think critically. Our goal is for students to go beyond memorizing facts—they learn how to analyze, apply, and evaluate information. We aim to empower students to think independently, solve problems, and collaborate effectively with others.

A key component of our program is teaching executive function skills—helping students stay organized, regulate themselves, and maintain focus even without rigid structures. Additionally, we place a strong emphasis on social and emotional learning, encouraging growth, resilience, and a positive mindset.

It is a joy to be part of such a thriving school community, and we would love to explore whether Fiddlehead is the right place for your child. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our office.

All my best,
Jacinda Cotton-Castro
Executive Director
