BOARD
The role of Fiddlehead School of Arts and Sciences (School) Board of Directors is to provide leadership and oversight of the activities of the School. The Board ensures that the School operates with transparency and is active and forthright in its external communications.
Our volunteer Board of Directors can be considered a “working board.” On average, board members donate 2–4 hours a week of their time. Our Board consists of both parents and community members. We survey our board members for the strengths that they bring to our organization and, when a vacancy appears, we look for where the gaps are in our Board composition.
A Commitment to Transparency
Fiddlehead School of Arts and Sciences Board of Directors is committed to transparency to ensure clarity, trust, and accountability. This commitment involves proactively communicating with all stakeholders about the School’s performance, strategy, and overall learnings. The Board adheres to best practices by providing timely, accurate financial and non-financial disclosures that go beyond minimum regulatory requirements. We welcome all of our community members to attend our meetings.
